The Royal Marines Band Service replaced all their drums with the Pearl Viscount series to equip the whole of the Corps of Drums. As the Royal Marines set the example for the other military bands, others will follow. Pearl has closely worked with the Royal Marines to design a traditional marching drum that meets the high standard of sound and quality of today’s military marching drummer. The new Viscount Series snare drums feature traditional style wood hoops, a state-of-the-art top snare mechanism and have the traditional military livery appearance. The whole range of Viscount Series drums consists of snare drums, tenor drums and bass drums. These Royal Marine Viscount drums will also be used and seen at the Horse Guards parade on 6-7th of June 2012.
