Biography

Daniel Guthausen, born 1971, got his first drum lesson with 5 years. He grew up with classical and rock and pop music equally. In 1998 he graduated from the study at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Daniel is giving drum lessons for more than 25 years now, he sat at the competition "Jugend musiziert" in the jury, and he leads several drum schools in the Rhine Ruhr area. But he is also a highly sought after drummer, live as well as in the studio. Daniel worked with artists of all musical styles, for example Anne Haigis, Dennis Hormes, Alby Donnelly, Henrik Freischlader, Dennis Stratton, Gene “Migthy Flea” Conners, Graham Oliver, Frank Kirchner, Marc Terenzi, Pete Haycock, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Purple Schulz, Roy Herrington.
