Biography

Maciej "Ślimak" Starosta, born on January 9, 1971 in Poznań(Poland).In 1989 he joined the band ACID DRINKERS, that released theirdebut album "ARE YOU A REBEL in 1990. The first three albums ofAcid Drinkers were also released in Great Britain by UNDER ONEFLAG - Music For Nations. The last Acid Drinkers LP "P.E.E.P.SHOW” was released in 2016.Ślimak recorded 18 albums and several live shows on DVD withAcid's. He co-created 4 albums with FLAPJACK band, one albumwith HOUK, he is a co-founder of band SIQ.He scored 8 Polish Music Academy’s awards, as well was awardedby the Polish Percussion Society and the prestigious "Perkusista"magazine (for the most inspiring drummer of all time in 2011 and forthe best recorded music album and for the best drummer in 2017).
