Background
Matan started playing piano at the age of 4 and at the age of 6 he started playing drums. When he was 8 he played with jazz ensembles, big bands and more. As rock music has always  been one of his all-time favorites, he founded his first garage-punk-rock band when he was 13, while being active in the school band and in the music school. When he turned 16 he started playing double-bass drums with local metal bands from Israel, and didn't stop ever since, growing into a highly respected and well-known drummer playing with bands from Israel and the world. His international touring career took off at age of 20, as he spread his wings to the Middle-East region, Europe and North America. Nowadays Matan is performing, touring, recording, teaching and moving forward with his studies. He also owns a professional recording, editing and rehearsal studio.
