What is it you like so much about playing Pearl Drums?

I love the tones they get, the depth and sustain on the toms is incredible. I've never been disappointed in anything I've played off Pearl.

Which drummer/band influenced you most into playing drums?

The drummer that made me want to play drums was Dave Grohl when he was in Nirvana, just watching his power and the passion he had made me wanna play drums. The bands that got me to push my drumming was: Metallica, Judas Priest, Nirvana, Slayer (with Dave), Pantera…

Who in your mind are the drummers of tomorrow, who has caught you eye ?

I’ve no idea, I'm still in my 80’s 90’s metal bubble, but I'm sure there some killer guys coming through…

What do you like most about being a drummer?

I love the fun aspect of it, the energy i get to release. It also helps keep me calm.

What is the worst thing to happen to you during a show?

Worst thing for me is having my mind go completely blank and not remembering what part is coming next, I'm sure we’ve all been there.

What do you practice and for how long?

I now practice every day at home for 2-3 hours a day, just going over songs from the albums I've done. On the road I will warm up 2 hours before show time.

What is your best advice to a young player wanting to make it in this industry?

Best advice would be..be tough, it’s a difficult industry to get into but also enjoy every second you can. As fast as it can come it also can be taken away.

If you had the chance to play drums for another artist who would it be?

Wow!! Way to many in my head. Rancid (I love punk also), Ghost (love the fact that they are different), Nirvana. Too Many.. I'll jam with anyone.
