Biography

Steve proudly plays the hugely loved Masters Premium 4 ply maple series finished in the classic white marine pearl covering complete with some very subtle changes to the regular hardware specifications. His toms and floor toms are actually fitted with standard steel triple flange hoops as Steve prefers the lighter more open feel, he also has our TB series tube lugs fitted to complete his love of retro kits.
The current sizes Steve uses are a 22x14 bass drum, 12x8, 13x9 toms with a 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms to his right. The kit is supported with our 1000 and 2000 series hardware along with the amazing Demon Drive single pedals.

As well as playing in the Imelda May Band Steve still has a busy workload as a freelance player.

Over the last couple of months inbetween the traveling with Imelda he has played drums in the West End production of Billy Elliot.

Steve has been a featured guest with the BBC Big Band and played at the Big Band Festival in Norfolk with the John Miller Orchestra, nephew of the late great Glenn Miller.

'I was asked to play drums and percussion on a show paying tribute to Brian Wilson and the Beach boys in the open air theatre at Hever Castle and if my schedule permits me, I am happily
found at the 100 Club in Oxford Street playing Rhythm and Blues with the Sentinels of Rhythm.'
